Exhaust fans, ceiling fans & heat lamps
Bathroom exhaust fans that actually extract, ceiling fans that don't wobble, heat lamps that work when you need them. I install new and replace old.
What I handle
Fans are one of those jobs that looks simple but goes wrong often. Bathroom exhaust fans that don't actually vent outside, ceiling fans mounted on dodgy brackets, heat lamps wired incorrectly. I see it a lot in older Morley homes.
I install fans properly — secure mounting, correct wiring, proper switching, and for exhaust fans, making sure they actually duct to the outside rather than just dumping moisture into the roof cavity.
If you're replacing an old unit, I'll check the existing wiring and make sure the new fan is compatible. If you're adding a new fan where there wasn't one before, I'll run the circuit and sort the switching.

Local fan installation examples
Bathroom exhaust fan in a rental
Old fan was just venting into the roof space — that's why the ceiling was getting mouldy. Installed a new fan with proper ducting to the outside.
Ceiling fan in a bedroom
Owner wanted a fan with a light to replace the old pendant. Installed a proper fan brace in the ceiling and wired for separate fan/light switching.
3-in-1 bathroom unit replacement
Original heat lamp unit was 30 years old and the fan had stopped working. Swapped for a modern 3-in-1 with LED light, heat, and extraction.
What to send me
SMS me a photo of the existing fan (or where you want a new one installed), what type of fan you're after, and the suburb. If you've already bought the fan, send a photo of the box or spec sheet.

Can you replace an old bathroom exhaust fan?
Yes. I swap out tired old fans constantly in Morley and Noranda bathrooms. Most are a straight replacement using the existing wiring. If the ducting needs attention too, I can advise on that.
Do you install ceiling fans with lights?
Yes. Ceiling fans with integrated lights are common in bedrooms and living areas. I make sure the mounting is secure for the weight and movement, the wiring handles both functions, and you've got proper switching for fan speed and light.
Can you add a heat lamp to an existing bathroom?
Usually yes. It depends on whether there's ceiling access and if the existing circuit can handle the extra load. In older homes sometimes the bathroom circuit needs an upgrade first — I'll check that before we start.
