Pool, spa & outdoor electrical
Pool pumps, spa circuits, alfresco power, outdoor lighting, garden power points. Everything you need to make your backyard work properly.
What I handle
Outdoor electrical has its own requirements — weather exposure, water proximity, and safety distances. Pool and spa work especially needs to be done right because water and electricity don't mix.
I handle pool pump circuits, spa power, alfresco area fit-outs, outdoor lighting, and weatherproof power points. Everything gets properly protected and earthed.
For Perth backyards, that often means running cable underground, installing weatherproof enclosures, and making sure everything is RCD protected and isolated correctly.

Local outdoor examples
Pool pump replacement circuit
Old pump died, new one was higher capacity. Upgraded the circuit to handle the new pump and added a proper isolator for the pool guy.
Alfresco area fit-out
New patio with ceiling fan, downlights, and two weatherproof power points. Ran everything from the main board with proper outdoor-rated cable and RCD protection.
Garden lighting installation
Pathway lights and a few garden uplights on a timer. Transformer and timer in a weatherproof enclosure, low-voltage lighting throughout the garden beds.
What to send me
SMS me photos of the area you want powered (pool, patio, shed, garden), a photo of your switchboard, and the suburb. Let me know if you've got equipment already or if you need advice on what to get.

Do pool pumps need a dedicated circuit?
Yes. Pool pumps draw significant current and need their own circuit with appropriate protection. The circuit also needs to be properly earthed and the pump isolated correctly for safety during maintenance.
Can you add power points to my alfresco area?
Yes. Outdoor power points need to be weatherproof rated and on an RCD-protected circuit. I install them with proper IP-rated enclosures so they're safe in exposed areas.
What about outdoor lighting on a timer?
I can wire garden lighting, pathway lights, and security lights to timers or smart switches. Makes sense to set it up so lights come on at dusk and off when you want them, rather than leaving them on all night.
